The Hyssna trail
40 km, moderate hiking trail
The Hyssna Trail in the municipality of Marks measures 40 kilometers and is suitable for a two-day hike. It is also possible to make shortcuts at several points.
The terrain varies between lush forest areas and cultural landscapes reminiscent of history. At times, the terrain is hilly.

The Sjuhärad Trail
74km, moderate hiking trail
Stages 3-7, Olsfors – Prången.
The entire Sjuhärad Trail measures 140 kilometers and traverses five municipalities. The trail is divided into ten stages that take you through forests, agricultural landscapes, and urban environments.
The hiking trail is part of the European Route E1, which starts in Italy and ends at Nordkapp

The Manor house Tour
55km, cycling route
The Manor House Tour is a cultural-historical cycling journey where, like a thread, you weave through the beautiful textile landscape of Sjuhärad. You cross three rivers on beautiful stone arch bridges and pass many interesting sights along the way.

Hyssna Nature Route
38km, cycling route
The Hyssna Nature Route takes you around the country roads surrounding Kinna, Rydal, and Hyssna.
The landscape is beautifully varied, with both open plains and deep forests.

The Holsjunga Tour
50km, cycling route
The tour offers varied cycling on smaller country roads and gravel paths. You pass churches and lakes mixed with forest and farmland landscapes until you reach Ätran and follow the final stretch back to Svenljunga.

Viskans Fishing Conservation Area
Fishing
The Viskan is the northernmost of the four major rivers in Halland. The river is 140 km long, originating in Lake Tolken between Borås and Ulricehamn. Salmon and sea trout are primarily caught in the lower stretches. Salmon and sea trout migrate upstream to Skene.

Western- & Eastern Öresjö lakes
Fishing
The Western and Eastern Öresjö Lakes stretch southwestward just south of Kinna. These large lakes provide excellent fishing opportunities. Fishing competitions are also held here several times a year. In these waters, you can find species such as Pike, Roach, Perch, Vendace, Pikeperch, Bream, Rudd, and Tench.

Örestens Fortress Ruins
Scenic viewpoint
In a time and in an area marked by border conflicts, the Öresten fortress was built. It has been burned down three times and rebuilt twice. Today, the ruins constitute a beautiful scenic viewpoint and a pleasant destination, far from threatening Danes and angry peasant armies.

Seaton’s Hill
Scenic viewpoint
On a peninsula between East and West Öresjön, the legendary Hyltenäs Hill rises above the surroundings. The hill is a popular and easily accessible destination. From the top of the hill, there is a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. What has made the area particularly famous is the peculiar hunting lodge that the merchant George Seaton had built on the crest of the hill between 1915 and 1918. However, in 1923, the castle was completely destroyed in a fire and was never rebuilt.
